Rumor: Mo Bamba has interest from the Lakers. Who (if anyone) should the Lakers give up to get this done?
I mean, I like Mo Bamba. He certainly has Ah, lot of stealing as a player. He's quite young. He's had some injury problems. He's got incredible length, you know he is. Ceiling might be a honest potentially. It's probably a little bit reaching, but, like, you know, that type of frame eso if I'm the Lakers like, yeah, I'm interested. But I'm certainly in win now mode. And so I would really, really not be willing to give up very much. I mean, I wouldn't even be able to give up Marc Gasol or someone of that nature because I just want the championship this year and next. So I don't think Obama fits into that picture. No, I would say that's pretty fair analysis. I'm looking at his play this year. He's averaging nine minutes a game, so it's kind of hard to get a feel for what a bigger samples guys would be like. You said. Obviously a lot of that. The physical ability is there, Um, but I really don't know if he'll develop and and obviously said, more important, the honest. But I don't know if I would see that path for him. Um, I'd see, just more of kind of like a like a Clint Capela is an example of the first one that comes to mind. Yeah, like a longer Clint Capela. Yeah. Yeah. Um, but I mean your analysis about the Lakers, right? If it's a piece that could even mine early, disrupt what you're trying to do in the postseason, it's not worth it. So, uh, little rabbit hole here, Would you give up Dante for Mo? I don't know. What I don't know how much longer it even changes under contract. Like two more years, maybe three. My concern is just that he's not playing it all right now. I don't know if there's a particular reason behind that. Well, I'm assuming he plays behind. I never get this guy's right in the name, right. I always wanna call him. Do you check? Who's, uh, Kobe teammate. But I think assuming he's playing behind it All star Yeah, um, even so, though, if you have a guy that has a lot of talent upside, you're still getting around on the court. Especially if your team isn't that good to begin with. True. True? Yeah, Agreed. All right. Next
