Which team is better: Bucks or Nets?
man, I gotta go Nuts. Makes me sad to say out loud, But these bucks, um, they're just They're not it. No, they're definitely not. I agree. 100%. The nets. Actually, I think I'm going to continue to get better. Um, I think they're defining roles. Will, Really? Well, Kyrie and Harden came to the agreement that he's going to run point Kyrie will run shooting guard, which I think is better positions for both of them. And then obviously having Durant a guy that can get a good look anytime that you want Probably the second best player of this generation. Um, I think it should be title or bust for them. But the other problem with the boxes, they didn't really get better in any regard. I mean, the only two guys that I look at that they brought in that are even adding value to them at all. Right now are Portis and, uh, Bryn Forbes in those? Well, I mean holiday. You gotta look at what you gave up to get him, right? I mean, you give up blood, so he's obviously an upgrade over blood. So But who knows where those three first round picks will come in. And who knows what players you're gonna get in return for them. So holiday is definitely better than blood. So But I'm kind of curious to see how that would all shake out in the long run. Um, but yeah, definitely. That's 100%. Yeah. I mean, I disagree with you a bit on, like eso Britain. Forbes, you know, bring forms, bring forms. I mean, he's shooting 46% right now, which is, like, way above his career averages as well. So I expected that. And terrible defender. I mean, I've joked about this in persona before, but I honestly think that my off ball positioning is is better than Hiss like he's clearly a better athlete than me. But, like like like when you look at the film, I think if you looked at the film like I would do actually better than him with, like, defender, he runs around the court. He's not looking at the ball. He's not in passing lanes like he looks like he's playing it about a high school level like JB level defense. Um, and you know, it is what it is, but like what I think I struggle with him. Is that you know, like Okay, so we brought in some shooting and there's no defense. And like, true holiday, Yes. We gave up a lot for him, but assuming he resigns, then I don't think the giving up is all this high as you're making out to be. Especially given at worst case, the Bucks draft picks are going to be in the twenties, even if they don't have a good season. Right? And so I'm like, I get those draft picks for someone like Drew Holiday. If he resigns, I think it's just sort of cheap at the end of the day. So, um, I think Bryn Forbes, like, if I'm if I'm the g m. I mean, I'm trying to keep Holiday Inn Yanis together and ship Middleton ship. Lopez, you know, sure keep forms, but like they're clearly missing. Ah, third piece. But I think building around Holiday Inn, Yannis and someone else like a Bradley Beal. Potentially. I think that's probably way much too much of a pipe dream. But someone like him, I think that that that trio is actually really good. Yeah, Yeah, definitely. Um yeah. Brook Lopez. I don't think is working out anymore. Unfortunately, that's kind of a big step back because I think he was a big reason why they were able to catapult. And he was 2019 when they won 60 games and where they should have made the finals but collapsed against the Raptors. So I don't know. There's certain elements of the team that I don't feel are benefiting anymore. Um, I really wish what they would have done. Looking at the books in retrospect is hold on to Brogden and then get another guy around his salary cap number. Um, because you just have a much deeper team then and there's really like I I would agree that Middleton is slightly better than bragging, but not as much as people would come to thank. And that's backed up by the numbers, too. So I I don't know. I've that The question is definitely the Nets. It's Do the Bucks have enough to put pieces in place to compete for the title? I'm going to say no as it exists right now because I don't think you honest has made enough changes in his offensive game to be effective in the post season. So yeah, I'm expecting that's and Sixers if they keep their shit together. Um, probably in, ah, Eastern Conference finals agreed.
