WhatsApp updated its Terms & Privacy Policy to mandate data-sharing with Facebook. How do you think Facebook is planning to use this data?

I was reading about this and, you know, they're not looking at the actual messages. But what I thought was interesting, they were saying The metadata of the interactions is equally, if not more valuable than what you're actually talking about. And what they mean by that is who's talking to who, how often and what groups, which subgroups of those people and how often other one on ones happening within that smaller group. And that is probably super super valuable. Because again, if you know that, you know, to particular people are communicating all the time. And both of our Facebook accounts have certain interest. Graphs like you can safely assume with a high level of certainty when they message a third person in a group message, that person probably fit, um, the kind of instant or interest graph demographic they're looking, and they can run ads at a pretty effective rate without really knowing anything about that particular person. So I kind of go back to society in Congress and whatever and say we actually don't know anything about that person. We inferred it, but we're starting to get to the point where the difference between those two are indistinguishable
